Ceftriaxone & Tazobactam Injection is a combination of ceftriaxone and tazobactam that works to treat the bacterial disease. Ceftriaxone is present as a sterile, semisynthetic and broad spectrum antibiotic while tazobactam is regarded as a penicillinic acid sulfone Beta-lactamase inhibitor. The injection generally works by inactivating susceptible Beta-lactmase and irreversibly gets bind to the catalytic region of the enzyme.
